After blocks arrive, focus on temperature, humidity and ventilation. Proper management reduces abnormal browning, contamination and premature pinning.
1. Arrival inspection
First check packaging, then look for damaged bags, contamination, heating or early pinning.
2. Temperature
Control temperature according to the strain and delivery stage, and avoid sudden changes that may trigger pinning.
3. Humidity
Keep humidity stable and avoid making the block surface too dry or too wet.
4. Ventilation
Ventilate properly to remove carbon dioxide and heat, and prevent poor colonization from oxygen shortage.
