About PeiYuan Agriculture
PeiYuan Agriculture was established in Pingshan, Hebei, in 2021. Faced with traditional bag filling, manual inoculation and weather-dependent cultivation, we introduced China's first-of-its-kind automated and efficient edible-fungi block production technology so cultivation could be guided by data and standards.
From the first block off the line to capacity of 100,000 blocks per day and 30 million per year, with shipments to the United States, Canada, South Korea and Australia, PeiYuan has remained focused on using technology to make shiitake more consistent, healthier and better tasting.
Before PeiYuan, mushroom cultivation often depended on weather and personal experience. We believe quality should come from repeatable technology and standards, not luck—so we turned cultivation into precise industrial production.

Our story
PeiYuan Agriculture was established in Pingshan, Hebei, in 2021. We introduced automated, efficient edible-fungi block production technology to replace weather-dependent manual methods with measurable processes and standards.
Our capacity has grown to 100,000 blocks per day and 30 million per year, serving customers in China and markets including the United States, Canada, South Korea and Australia.

Supporting growers and rural revitalization
Under the company's integrated operating model, PeiYuan builds growing facilities and coordinates varieties, fruiting-block production, technical instruction, mushroom grading and marketing, while participating households manage cultivation. In 2025 the program involved more than one hundred households, with average annual household income of RMB 100,000, and received a county award for outstanding contribution to rural revitalization.
