Yin Xuebin is a pioneer in functional agriculture and helped lead China's first industry standard for selenium-enriched agricultural products.
Education
From 1995 to 2005, he completed bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral studies at the School of Earth and Space Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China. As an undergraduate he joined China’s 16th Antarctic expedition, and he later served as an associate professor at the university.

- Chief editor of Functional Agriculture, the field’s first monograph, and author of more than 100 related publications
